Description for the Marsanne ...
Wine makers Jean Claude Mas and Giorgio Grai have selected small yields of the finest grown Marsanne grape, from contracted vineyards east of Carcassonne in the Languedoc wine region. The 30 year old low yielding vines are harvested at night and transported to Domaine Paul Mas in Pezenas.
Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2016 ...
The wine appears golden yellow with stone fruit, mingled with white flower and honeyed spice on the nose. The palate overwhelms with white peaches and roasted nuts, followed by hints of melon and somewhat floral, finishing bold and complex with lasting white stone fruit. Allow to open in the glass and would be best served with oily fish or even on its own.
