Chateau Paul Mas Clos des Mures

The Chateau Paul Mas Clos des Mures appears a beautiful dark ruby red with lashings of spiced black fruits, mingled with liquorice and warm black pepper on the nose. The palate is complex and restrained with seductive blackcurrant and blackberry fruits, locked in with warm spice, vanilla and liquorice, velvety soft, finishing full and structured with even more spiced black fruit. An excellent red that should be allowed to breathe 1-2 hours, will get even better with age 8-10 years and would be best served with grilled meats, lamb, game, chicken dishes and even cheeses.
