Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines ...

The Single Vineyard 'Alto Los Toros' Syrah appears deep red in colour with dominant graphite notes, integrated black fruit mingled with blueberry, violets and black olives on the nose. The palate is an exuberance of rich blackberry fruit and spicy oak, full and fresh with firm tannins, finishing med-bodied with a hint of liquorice and spicy black fruit. The 'Alto Los Toros' has excellent cellaring potential 8-10 years, allow to-breathe and would be best served with wild boar or Veal.
