Carmen's El Pacifico vineyard is located on the western side of the Cordillera de la Costa, some 8 miles from the Pacific ocean. The cool climate of the Leyda Valley and its clay and granite soils, are ideal for grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The grapes for the Sauvignon Blanc are handpicked and carefully transferred to the winery, where they are de-stemmed and gentle pressed.
