Bushmills Tripled Distilled Irish Whiskey

The Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery is in the northwest of Ireland, in the village of Bushmills, County Antrim, nestled on the bank of the River Bush. The license to distil was granted in 1608 by King James I, with ‘The Old Bushmills Distillery’ officially registered in 1784, with the Pot Still as the registered trade mark. To this day, the Distillery draws its water from Saint Columb’s Rill, a tributary of the River Bush.

Released in early November 2017, the new Bushmills Red Bush Irish Whiskey has been distilled with a higher grain content than normal. The non-age statement Irish Blended whiskey has been matured in 1st fill Bourbon Casks and watched over by master distiller Colum Egan, with the final touches carried out by Bushmills Distillery Blender, Helen Mulholland. Lighter amber in colour with distinct floral notes, accompanied with green apple and hints of melon.
