The Mizunara Oak 13 Year Old has been aged for 12 years in 1st fill American Oak Bourbon Barrels and finish in Japanese Oak Casks for a further 12 months. The Mizunara Casks are made and charred by Japan's oldest cooper, with the oak sourced from the volcanic Island of Hokkaido. The Barrels then travel 6000 miles to County Wicklow in Ireland, where they used on Glendalough Distilleries new look 13 year old single malt Irish whiskey and become the first Irish Distillery to do so.

Nose - "Sweet honeycomb, vanilla, apricot, and citrus."
Palate - "Velvety smooth with vanilla, fudge, rock candy, peach and marmalade followed by coconut, cinnamon and cloves."
Finish - "Long and spicy with biscuity mal ts, vanilla, oak and dark chocolate."
