Boatyard Double Gin Description ...
The Double Gin is distilled by The Boatyard Distillery, located near the picturesque Lower Lough Erne – Enniskillen. The Distillery is one of a few in Ireland, able to produce their own base spirit, fermented from organic malted wheat and Champagne yeast, over a period of five days, using their very own Dutch made Column Still. The Botanicals used within the distillation are all organically grown, with the exception of the Sweet gale which is grown at the family farm. The traditional Dutch method of gin distillation is used for first contact with the Juniper, allowing maceration for 24 hours before the final Pot distillation. After the distillation the resulting Gin is cut with purified water and allowed to pair for 2 weeks prior to being bottled.
