Northbound 08 Kölsch Style

Inspired by the Kölsch beer style originating in Cologne, Germany. 08 is an Irish Kölsch that has is clean and crisp. It is a balanced beer with mild malty flavours and a refreshing finish. A straw coloured beer where warm fermentation and a long lagering time allows the subtle fruit notes and hop character come through. The number 8 refers to the measurement of colour. Pairs well with cheese and pork dishes.
