Description for the Tempranillo ...

The fruit for the Tempranillo has been sourced from two different vineyards, La Calera, Padilla de Duero and Pago de la Mira, Pesquera de Duero. Both vineyards lay at approximately 900m above sea-level and vines with an average age of 20 years. The winery itself was established in 1997, taken over by 4th generation De Santiago family.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2016 ...

The Tinta Fina appears garnet with savoury black and red fruit mingled with spicy cocoa and full flavoured seasoned oak on the nose. The palate flows with spiced blackcurrant fruit, hints of blueberry and ripe raspberry, finishing full, with lasting spice and gentle vanilla. Please allow to breathe, even decant and would be best served with red meat or goats cheese.
