Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

D.O Rias Baixas is divided into 5 sub-zones, 4 of which are located in province of Pontevedra and 1 in the province of A Coruna. The vineyards in Val do Salnes are known to be the coolest of the 5. The other 4 sub-zones are O Rosal, Condado do Tea, Soutomaior and Ribera de Ulla.

The Albarino appears bright with yellow hints, the nose opens with lashings of tropical fruit, citrus and sea salt. The palate overwhelms with ripe banana, apple, melon and fresh peach, finishing zippy with balanced acidity and even more fruit. Best consumed young and serve with fish and shell fish. Excellent..
