Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2016 ...
The Crianza appears almost dark garnet in colour, with toffee coated red fruits, violets and vanilla on the nose. The palate is expressive with earthy raspberry fruit, hints of leather but balanced. Bold but yet round, the Baja red lingers on with mocha coated oak and even more fruit. An excellent red that needs a little time to open and would be best served stews, roasts and grilled meats.
