Description for the Torres Tempranillo ...
The fruit for the Sangre de Toro Tempranillo are harvested from vineyards within the DO La Mancha, which forms one of nine within the larger Castilla La Mancha wine region. The region is located on the central plateau of the Iberian Peninsula and is not only one of Spain's oldest but largest as well. The grapes were allowed to macerate for 8 days, prior to fermentation in stainless steel.
Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2016 ...
The Tempranillo appears deep ruby red with lashings of spicy black fruit on the nose. The palate opens with seductive black cherry, hints of clove and spice, finishing velvety soft with lingering fragrant black cherry spiced fruit. The wine is a great entry level red that should be consumed young 1-2 years and would be best served with light red meat and creamy cheeses.
