Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2014 ...
The wine appears black, almost opaque with minerality, some oak and dominant aromatic black fruits, textured with warm spice on the bouquet. The palate is fresh with hints of spice and some earthiness, followed by generous blackberry and blackcurrant, silky smooth tannins finishing full with toasted oak that doesn't overwhelm, lively and bold with a hint of dark chocolate. I would definitely decant - 1-2 hours. Best served with game and red meats and would cellar for 8-10 years.
