Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines ...

The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc appears bright with green highlights in colour. The nose is full of ripe tropical fruit with underlying green figs and hints of green pepper, asparagus and somewhat grassy. The palate is crisp and dry with distinctive grapefruit and gooseberry fruit, minerality and a little spice, finishing clean and lively with even more fruit and lingering fig. Consume young and allow to open in the glass and would be best served with salty seafood, poultry and on its own.
