Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines ...

The resulting Neethlingshof Estate Cabernet Sauvignon appears deep ruby red with a huge concentration of red and black fruit, oak and spice with a hint of liquorice on the nose. The palate overwhelms with fetching blackcurrant fruit, mingled with ripe dark cherry, peppery spice and creamy vanilla, finishing full and soft with smoky spice and an abundance of velvety soft black fruit. Allow to open in the glass and even decant, best served with game, cheeses and herb crushed lamb. The full bodied red will age beautifully for the next 3-5 years.
