Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2014 ...
The resulting Bordeaux blend appears almost black with spectrum of black and red fruits, mingled with smoke and oak on the nose. The palate is soft and full, with smoked plum, ripe blackberries and hints of cigar box cassis and underlying vanilla, finishing powerful with lasting spiced black fruits. A great rich red that should be allowed to open and would be best served with grilled meats and even mild cheeses.
