Fairley’s Wines Tasting Note ...

The Marlborough Pinot Noir displays deep garnet with savoury red and black fruit and a hint of warm spice, with smoked oak on the nose. The palate opens with a mix of ripe red and black cherry, soft brambled black fruit, such as blackberry and plum with a hint of integrated spiced oak, finishing full with lasting silky red and black fruit and even more smoked oak. An excellent Pinot Noir that will cellar well and should be allowed to breathe, best served with venison and lamb, duck and even game.
