Description for the Apulia White ...

The Estate dates back over 6 centuries, were its name was derived from the Basilian monks. Current owners Lina Memmo and husband Vitantonia Seracca Guerrieri have over 200 hectares of eco-friendly vineyards and is located in the center of the Salice Salento wine region, Puligia. The castles cellars, house over 1000 Barriques and 18 French Oak Barrels.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2017 ...

The Verdeca appears yellow with green tints followed by an abundance of candied citrus fruit with floral notes on the nose. The palate is fresh with zingy lemon and lime, followed by rock flower, finishing dry and clean with even more candied fruits. Do not overchill and would be best served with scallops and mussels.
