2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sangiovese Description ...
The fruit for the Tuscan red were sourced from rocky and impervious slopes of the Banfi estate, Montalcino. Up to 15 different vineyards were chosen, each adding something different to the wine. Maceration was carried out over 5-6 days in stainless steel tank and finally released after a short time in bottle.
Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...
The stony hill blend appears rich ruby red in colour with an exuberance of ripe red fruit, notes of blueberry and complex spice on the nose. The palate displays concentrated velvety soft raspberry and plum with integrated warm spice, finishing fresh, gently textured with structure and even more fruit laced with spice. Ready to drink now or perfect with BBQ meat.
