The Journey began in 1978, when brothers John and Harry Mariani acquired an estate in Tuscany, they currently produce wines under three labels, Castello Banfi - a single estate state of the art winery, located between two rivers, Orcia and Ombrone on the slope of the Montalcino. Banfi Toscana - with the grape choosen from specific vineyards within the region and Banfi Piemonte – a 45 hectare estate in Strevi, located between the towns of Novi Ligure and Acqui Terme in Piedmont, formely the Bruzzone Winery.

Fantinel Wine

The Fantinel story starts back in 1969, when Paron Mario acquired his first vineyard, located in the Collio Zone, Friuli Venezia Giulia. A third-generation Estate now exists in Tauriano di Spilimbergo, located in the Friuli Grave zone, with 300 hectares of vineyards, situated within Friuli Grave, Prosecco and Collio DOC Zones. The Friuli Venezia Giulia region is in Italy’s North-Eastern Corner, bordering Austria in the North and Slovenia to the East. The region is divided into 4 DOCGs and 10 DOCs wine denominations.

Thomson & Scott Skinny was founded by Amanda Thomson, with a view of producing a range of low sugar top quality sparkling wines from France and Italy. So far the CEO of Thomson & Scott Skinny, Amanda Thomson has produced two sparkling wines from Champagne and one from DOC Prosecco. The two Champagnes contain only 0.1g of residual sugar per litre, while the Prosecco, whilst Organic Certified and Vegan Friendly, contains 7gof residual sugar per litre.

The Rosso is representative of the Tuscan coast, the wine is a blend of Sangiovese the region's main grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon and merlot. The individual parels of fruit were harvested in September and October, following fermentation they are aged individually in small oak barrels for 3 months, blended together and then aged again in barrel for a further 4 months. An appropriate bottle aging follows before release.

The fruit for the DOCG were sourced from the Classico region of Chianti between Siena and Firenze.
