Description for the Pinot Noir / Gamay Cremant ...

Veuve Ambal dates to 1898 within Rully, with creator Anne Marie Ninot. The winery and vineyards now cover 6 different Domaines, within the Burgundy wine region. The parcels of fruit for the Collection Dentelle have been manually harvested from 26-year-old vines within the Cote Chalonnaise sub-region. Initial fermentation is carried out in stainless steel, with secondary in the bottle, where the final blend is allowed to age for 12 to 18 months.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2018 ...

The sparkling wine appears lively with very fine bubbles, followed by spice and fresh candied red fruit on the nose. The palate opens with tingly raspberry and strawberry fruit followed by spice and cream, finishing delicate with even more red fruit. Excellent!! Enjoy with different warm breads or as an aperitif, even on its own… Do not over chill.
