Description for the Dry Jurancon White ...

The Vegan dry white has been produced by wine maker Francois Ruhlmann, for Caves de Gan Jurancon. The parcels of fruit have been sourced from organic south facing vineyards from Gave de Pau to Oloron, in the AOC Jurancon. The grapes are gently pressed and fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, where the wine is allowed to rest on the lees for 6 months, prior to bottling.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2018 ...

The resulting Gros Manseng appears pale yellow with a concentration of fresh green fruit, mingled with stone fruit aromas and citrus on the nose. The palate is bristling with peach and pear, dry and lively with accompanied mango and honeysuckle, finishing fresh and long with even more fruit. Do not over-chill and would be best served with seafood or as an aperitif.
