Description for the Blanc ...
The Chardonnay grapes are harvested from the Valleys clay and limestone slopes, some 300/400m above sea-level. Transported to the winery, the fruit is sorted on tables and cold fermented in vats, prior to further aging in lightly toasted French oak barrels for 10 months.
Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2016 ...
The burgundy White appears pale golden yellow with green fruits, mingled with citrus and spice and hints of oak on the nose. The palate is full of dried green apple and fresh lemon, spicy creamed oak, finishing complex and balanced with lasting acidity and background spiced oak. Allow to breathe and would be best served with grilled fish and other salty seafood. An excellent white.
