Description for the Cahors Malbec ...

The parcels of fruit for the Les Petit Clos Triguedina were sourced from the Estates vineyards and carefully selected by winegrower Jean Baldes, responsible for the introduction of the first stainless steel vat in AC Cahors in 1976, Jean is now in charge of the Estate and in 1999 increased and modernised the cellars with the introduction of 600 French oak barrels and produces all using traditional methods.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2014 ...

The blend appears ruby red with lashings of red spiced fruit on the nose. The palate is full and silky soft with ripe plum, raspberry and dark dried cherry fruit, pepper and violet, finishing rich with even more red fruits. An excellent red that needs some time to breathe and would be best served with steak, strong cheese and game.
