Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...
The Drouhin Meursault appears golden yellow in colour, with toasted almonds, citrus and honey, integrated with hazelnut and creamy vanilla on the nose. The palate is rich and fat with nut and butter, finishing long with gingerbread, lingering citrus and flint, somewhat floral and very well structured. Allow to breathe and would cellar 4 to 15 years. Best consumed with king prawns, grilled lobster or even blue cheese.
