Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

The resulting Domaine De Courteillac Bordeaux Red appears almost black with a particularly fetching red and black fruit aromas, toasted oak with hints of liquorice and dark chocolate on the nose. The palate is complex and rich with anise coated blackberry fruit, interlaced with sweet strawberry jam, spice and velvety soft tannins, finishing long and full with lasting fruit and lingering oak. An Excellent Bordeaux Superieur that will get even better with age, allow time to-breathe, even decant and would be best served with Beef, Roasted Lamb or even venison.
