Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...
The Saint Esprit is deep plum in colour with red and black fruit in abundance, cinnamon and liquorice on the nose. The palate displays expressive plum and blackberry, embellished with peppery spice and violet, finishing medium with warm spice and ripe red-fruit character. An excellent wine with delicate tannins, requires a little time to open and should be consumed 3-5 years. Best served with mixed grills, game and even venison.
