Description for the Ventoux Grenache Syrah ...
Harvested from the vineyards at different altitudes and terroirs, the grape is transported to the estate, crushed and destemmed and allowed to macerate for a fifteen day period, produced using traditional methods, allowed to rest and clarified, prior to blending and bottling.
Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2015 ...
The Ventoux Rouge appears deep ruby red with lashings of spice and expressive red fruit on the nose. The palate is silky soft with black peppered cherry and raspberry, followed hints of flower, finishing full and balanced with even more red fruit. Allow to open in the glass and would be best served with grilled meats and pizza.
