Description for the Sarl Rouge ...

The Chateau is located near the town of Sainte Colombe in the A.O.C Castillon Cotes de Bx, with 42 hectares of vine. Acquired by Pierre Bernard Guisez in 1987, the winery has gone from strength to strength. The vines, situated on Clay and limestone slopes, with an average age of 30 years are populated with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties.

Tasting Note from Fairley's Wines | 2015 ...

The Bordeaux Rouge appears garnet red with ripe red fruit and underlying toasted dried black fruit on the nose. The palate opens medium full of warm blue fruit and dried plum and cherry, hints of oak and soft, finishing long with lasting black and red fruits. An excellent red that will age well and should be allowed to open. Best served lamb and tender duck.
