Rully Blanc 2013 Description ...
Domaine Andre Delorme is located within Burgundy's Cote Chalonnaise, which is divided into 5 sub-regions, of which one is Rully. The five sub-regions are named after the five villages, Rully, Bouzeron, Mercury, Givry and Montagny. The Sub-region of Rully produces twice as much Chardonnay as it does Pinot Noir and is a major player in the production of Cremant de Bourgogne.
Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...
The Andre Delorme Rully Blanc is a beautiful pale yellow with attractive green tints. The nose is full lemon freshness, floral with subtle green fruit aromas. The palate is full with nutty pear, locked in with lemon freshness and underlying almond, finishing clean and fresh with citrus and rose. An excellent white that would be best served with poultry, seafood or grilled fish. Allow to open in the glass and do not over chill.
