Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

The Carmen Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc appears pale green with yellow hints in colour. The nose an austere of fruit aromas with citrus and minerality. The palate is textured and complex with ripe gooseberry and passionfruit at the forefront, mingled with lemon and lime, clean and fresh finishing long and persistent with silex stones. Do not over chill and consume young. Would be best served as an aperitif or with shrimp, oysters and white meat.
