Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

The Carmen Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon appears deep ruby red in colour with intense aromas of black fruit interwoven with cedar and mint. The palate is firm with lashings of cassis and red cherry fruit, structured with hints of vanilla and even more mint, finishing full with great depth and even more fruit. An excellent full-bodied red that will age well 6-7 years, please allow to breathe 1-2 hours and would be best consumed with lamb, spicy ribs, beef and ripe cheeses.
