Matetic Vineyards - Family Wine | Rosario Valley

The Matetic Vineyards are in the Aconcagua wine region, Rosario Valley, a sub zone of the San Antonio valley, situated some 75 miles from Santiago. The Family have currently four Vineyards, two within the Casablanca Valley and two in the San Antonio valley. The story began in 1999, with Jorge Matetic planting Syrah in the completely enclosed cool climate Rosario Valley. The vineyards are deemed organic and biodynamic, covering 150 hectares of land, with the closest vines only 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean and with all the grapes handpicked.
