Fairley’s Wines Tasting Note ...

The 2013 carbon neutral Shiraz appears medium bodied, with spice and pepper, mingled with red and black fruit on the nose. The palate overwhelms with savoury earthy plum and blackberry, solid grippy tannins, leading to even more peppery black and spiced red fruit on the finish, soft and persistent. An excellent red with extended cellaring 5-12 years and definitely needs to be decanted and allowed to breathe 1-2 hours. Best served with peppered steak and other red meats.
