Fairley’s Wines Tasting Note ...

The 2006 ESP Cabernet Sauvignon appears almost black with earthly black fruit, locked in with herbs, nutmeg and cinnamon oak on the nose. The palate is full bodied with dried earth driven blackberry fruit, savoury with spiced almond, spiced and with multiple layers, finishing persistent with even soft black spiced fruit. An Excellent red that will cellar well 2017-2016 and requires decanting and please allow to breathe 2-3 hours. Best served with tender cooked red meat, beef and spiced ribs.
