Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

The varietal Cabernet Sauvignon appears almost black with hints of purple. The nose overwhelms with an array of black fruit, accompanied with rich red fruit and underlying mint and dark spiced chocolate. The palate is medium bodied with mouthcoating blackcurrant fruit, plum and mulberry, subtle mint mingled with sweet chocolate and vanilla oak, finishing silky soft with peppery spice and even more dark fruit. An excellent red that should be allowed to open up and would be best served with lamb, ribs and roasted meat.
