Dowie Doole DD Grenache

The DD Grenache is a blend of Grenache fruit from the two terroirs of DOWIE DOOLE; 1955 planted vines on the sandy slopes of Blewitt Springs and 1965 planted bush vine Grenache from the ancient rocks of Tatachilla. A vibrant bouquet of juicy berries; raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and cassis. The palate starts lush with Grenache fruits, filling the mouth, however still medium-bodied and elegant. After the first fill of fruit leaves the palate, the wine's elegant and fine minerality/tannin line reveals, giving the wine great length. A vibrant and vivid palate demonstrates Grenaches intrinsic vibrancy and elegance.
