Fairley's Wines Tasting Note ...

The d'Arenberg The Ironstone Pressing GSM appears bright red in colour with spectrum of dark fruit aromas, mixed with exotic spices and wild herbs on the nose. The palate is an array of red and black fruit, from dried cherry and plum to spiced blackcurrant, savoury with hints of tobacco and some sweet cedar, velvety soft, finishing full and long with elegance and persistence, lingering spice combined with lasting ripe dark fruits. An excellent full bodied red that will cellar well, 5-7 years. Best served with grilled red meats, lamb and even Cheese.
