Unlike the 15% alcohol cocoa liqueur, this one is made using whole cocoa beans which are roasted before being macerated in alcohol to obtain the full buttery flavour, colour and aromas of cocoa. This “black chocolate” style liqueur is particularly popular for making cocktails because of its natural bitterness.
