The grape used for the distillation of the Maxime Trijol Elegance Cognac was sourced from estate vineyards entirely within the Cru of Cognac Grande Champagne. The Cognac Region lies in southwestern France in the departments of Charente and Charente Maritime. The Cognac AOC is divided into six districts, with Grande Champagne being one of the most important. Centred around the town of Cognac, the Region is split in two by the Charente River, with Grande Champagne located on the south side of the River.
