Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Scotland | Islay | Loch Indaal
40% - 70cl
Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the first recorded distillery on Islay, as well as being one of the oldest in scotland. Water obtained from the Peat-Laden Laggan River is used in its distillation and the smoking of the malt is carried out in peat fired kilns. Islay malts are farmed for there peaty smokiness and the Bowmore 12 year old is no exception. The colour is warm amber with peat and white chocolate, subtle lemon and balanced honey on the nose.

Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Scotland | Islay | Loch Indaal
43% - 70cl
Bowmore is one of the ever decreasing handful of distilleries to produce its own floor malted barley. It is also home to the legendary No.1 vaults, the oldest maturation warehouse in Scotland and the only one below sea level. It is here the 18 year old spends its long life maturing in hand selected oak casks allowed to mature at its own sedate pace. The whisky appears mellow mahogany with creamy caramel, light smoke and ripe fruit on the nose.
