The Brabazon is the first of a series of fortified cask aged whiskeys, with port maturation rumoured to be the next in the series. The Series 1 is a combination of cask maturation, using six different aged whiskeys, from 4 different types of sherry casks.
Nose – Earthy dried fruit and roasted hazelnut, with marmalade, peach, plum and burnt toffee.
Palate – A rich sherry sweetness, red berries, nuttiness and toffee, with a hint liquorish and clove.
Finish – Lingering mixed spice, trial-mix, crisped marshmallow, dry tannins and spice with toasted wood.
