Description for the Blended Irish Whiskey ...
Named after the mythical Donegal sea maidens, known locally as 'the silkies' or 'selkies', the Silkie Whiskey is a blend of single malt and grain Irish whiskey, produced by an independent distiller, the blend is mixture of aged product, matured in what appears to be two different barrels, sherry and bourbon, with the bottled label reflecting the colour of the Donegal coastline.
