The Glendalough Mountain Strength Poitin is double distilled from both Malted Barley and Irish Sugar Beet and with each small batch then matured in Virgin Irish Oak Casks.
Glendalough Distillery Tasting Note ...
Nose - "The nose is now spicier, with the higher alcohol. Oak, berried fruit, gooseberries still there along with lime zest notes."
Palate - "The taste is smooth despite its strength. The traces of cracked black pepper, dried fruits, oaky vanilla and barley sugars stay true."
Finish - "The finish holds its complexity and lingers. It’s warmer this time, and soothing. That spicy tail is more intense with the Mountain Strength leaving you something to think about."
