Bushmills 1608 was released in 2008 to celebrate 400 Years of distilling; with the blended whiskey using three types of whiskey; the tripled distilled malted whiskey, in combination with a lighter grain whiskey, as well as malt produced from Crystal Malt and then finally matured in two woods, Oloroso sherry and Bourbon casks.
