Bushmills 1608 was released in 2008 to celebrate 400 Years of distilling; with the blended whiskey using three types of whiskey; the tripled distilled malted whiskey, in combination with a lighter grain whiskey, as well as malt produced from Crystal Malt and then finally matured in two woods, Oloroso sherry and Bourbon casks.

A premium blended Irish whiskey combining three types of whiskey - at its heart is Bushmills malt whiskey distilled with crystal malt.
Nose - "Rich, dense, concentrated and enticing. Raisins, fir honey."
Palate - "Distinctly sweet but balanced. Reveals great depth and weight behind a soft mouth-feel. Touch of vanilla, toasted almonds. Gentle spiciness."
Finish - "Long and lingering on toffee and dark chocolate."
