The Echlinville Distillery Tasting Note ...

Nose - "Complex and perfectly balanced nose, sweet and smooth from the barley, floral and citrus notes."
Palate - "Anise and Lavender come through in the tasting initially, followed by juniper and coriander notes, sweetness carries on throughout with a substantial mouthfeel (we don’t chill filter – maintaining a high level of estery flavour carrying oils)."
Roseflower is prominent as you savour the finish, with pine and citrus re-visiting.

Echlinville Gin and Elderflower - 1 parts Echlinville Gin into a chilled Highball filled with ice / lemon slice topped up with Fever tree Elderflower.

Jawbox Small Batch Classic Dry Gin is distilled at Echlinville Distillery in Newtownards, on behalf of the Jawbox Spirits Company and is Ireland's very first single estate gin. The name was derived from the old Belfast Sink, commonly known as a ‘Jawbox’. The distillation process involves a combination of maceration and vapour distillation, in which eleven botanicals are used, three of which are a closely kept secret.
